Genuine camel tooth (bone) bead from Africa and associated with Sahelian and Saharan pastoral groups, including: the Fulani and Tuareg people. However, just like trade beads, camel tooth beads are also exchanged in the bead world and can be found elsewhere. This bead was acquired from a Ghanaian bead merchant.

The main body and core of the bead is a natural cream color with a yellow patina–bead is smooth on both the root and bottom of the tooth; slightly irregular in shape with visible dentrine lines; no pitting or scratches are seen. Overall good condition.

Approximately measures (central bead): 48 mm (long), 12 mm (diameter), 1 mm hole size
