Workshop Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in participating in workshops and events hosted by JORDAN BEADS. By registering for a workshop, class, or event, you acknowledge and agree to the workshop guidelines outlined below.

Minimum Enrollment Requirement

Workshops and classes require a minimum of three (3) registered participants to proceed. If the minimum requirement is not met at least seven (7) days before the scheduled session date, JORDAN BEADS may cancel the scheduled program and immediately provide full refunds to all registrants. The minimum enrollment requirement is set by JORDAN BEADS and may change at the discretion of JORDAN BEADS.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash (fiat currency), cashier checks (sent through mail), Mastercard, Visa, Diner's Club, Amex, and Discover via the Shopify platform. Bitcoin and XRP cryptocurrencies are also accepted. For your own information security, please don't ever use email to send us your debit or credit card information.

NOTE: We do not accept PayPal.

Registration and Payment

A 50% deposit or full payment is required to secure your spot in a workshop or class. The remaining 50% must be paid in full at least thirty (30) days before the session start date. Failure to submit payment on time will result in forfeiture of the reservation, and a full refund will be issued.

Age Requirement

Children and teens aged 5 to 17 may attend only when specified in the workshop description. When attendance by minors is permitted, an adult (age 18 or older) must accompany and remain with the minor for the entire duration of the session. If an adult is not present, the minor will not be allowed to participate, and no refund will be issued.

Clothing and Attire

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for hands-on art and craft activities. Please note that many workshops involve the use of paints, dyes, adhesives, or other materials that may stain or damage clothing. Jordan Beads is not responsible for any damage to clothing, shoes, or personal items that may occur during participation. Aprons may be provided for certain workshops, but participants are ultimately responsible for dressing appropriately for the nature of the activity.

Materials, Tools, and Supplies

Unless noted otherwise in the workshop description, materials and supplies are not included in the workshop fee and must be purchased on-site during the session. Tools are provided for use during the workshop but cannot be taken off the premises. Participants may only take home their finished project(s) at the end of the workshop.

Additional materials, tools, or supplies may be available for purchase separately, depending on availability.

Photos and Video Recording

Virtual (online) workshops and classes will be recorded; however, participants who prefer not to be recorded may choose to disable their video and audio during the session. For in-person workshops and classes, participants are welcome to take photos, but recording or live streaming by attendees is not permitted.

If Jordan Beads intends to record or live stream an in-person session, participants will be informed beforehand and asked to provide their consent. Providing consent is completely optional and not a requirement for participation. Should a participant choose not to consent, Jordan Beads will take steps—such as adjusting camera angles, seating arrangements, or editing the final content—to ensure they are excluded from the recording or broadcast. This decision will not affect their ability to participate in the workshop or class.

Code of Conduct, Safety, and Liability

All participants are expected to maintain a respectful and positive environment throughout the workshop or class. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal without a refund.

Parking

Parking for in-person workshops and events may be complimentary, require validation, involve paid timed meters, or be in residential areas with posted restrictions. Jordan Beads does not provide reimbursement for parking fees or citations resulting from failure to comply with parking regulations.

Liability and Consequential Damages

Jordan Beads is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during workshops, classes, or events held at Jordan Beads premises or hosted by its employees, staff, guest instructors, or independent contractors. Under no circumstances shall Jordan Beads be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, business interruption, or emotional distress arising from participation in any workshop, class, or event.
